Burbo Bank Extension

This new wind farm extension was promulgated in March of 2016 as an “Exclusion Zone” (ie no yachties!) It covers quite a large area of sea to the West of Liverpool and will need careful navigation planning when taken into account with existing wind farms and TSSs. If you intend using the Rock Channel into/out of Liverpool be advised that there will be support vessels transiting to and from the construction sight when depths permit.
