Update June 2022
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 24th Jun 2022
I reviewed these notes in June 2022. The only changes are to the tariff.
Book in a few days before you arrive!

Nice and close to Edinburgh city centre.
Granton website is theedinburghmarina.co.uk not edinburgh-marina.com . A bit confusing.
Book and pay online.
You need to email [email protected] or [email protected] a few days ahead once you have paid online in order to get the gate code.
Visitors berth on pontoon is deep enough for 1.7m fin keel. Recommend 4 hr +- HW. Not really a marina.
No electricity on pontoons but there is water.
The pontoon has quite a few club boats on it so you might need to move a boat along in order to get in (we did).
UPDATE SPRING 2021

I reviewed these notes in May2021. Not many changes. Lots of info (most of which is posted here) can be found on the Edinburgh Marina website. You can now pay for a berth on line at £2.60 a night. Still no shore power on the pontoon.

Nothing to report here except that the overnight charge has gone up.

Update 2015 by Don. We are indebted to Adrian Shield of the RFYC for the information on depths in Granton following their dredge and for the photos of the results.
