But plenty of space to anchor. Sailing.ie suggests they’ve been lifted for service and may be back later this month.
UPDATE SUMMER 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 7th Sep 2021
I reviewed these notes in September 2021. The comments of our member below re contacts are noted and the FB page has been added as a contact. I suspect the availability of a visitors buoy in 2020 may have been influenced by the Covid situation then.
Glandore Visit July 2020
Written by Malcolm Moir | 27th Jul 2020
In July 2020 we visited Glandore. It was very difficult to make contact with the yacht club. No phone numbers worked. However they were very responsive to a post on their Facebook page 'Glandore Harbour Yacht Club' and they advised as to how many visitor moorings were available on the day.

On arrival there was plenty of space for anchoring. We chose to pickup a visitors mooring. A total of six Cork County Council visitors moorings are available and are dotted amongst other moorings imeediatly to the west of Glandore harbour in circa 2m depth. Visitors moorings are large in size, coloured yellow and have a flat top. The one we picked up had markings to suggest that it was rated for max 15 tonnes and had last been serviced in 2017.

Updated on 29th November 2013 by Don Thomson. No changes were made except that a zoomifiable chart has been provided in the charts section to replace the enlarged chart of Mill Cove previously given. We have also corrected the link to street view of Mill Cove.
