I reviewed these notes at the end of May 2022. As far as I can see there has been little change here.

The yacht Club has advised that their mooring fees remain the same as they were in 2013
UPDATE SPRING 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 29th Apr 2021
I reviewed these notes in April 2021. I've altered the text to reflect the removal of the mole in the Walton Basin and have noted the change in prices at the Titmarsh Marina. I'm awaiting information on the latest prices at Walton and have supplied an image of the new layout in the basin (Navigation images top right). I've also had a quick look at Walton on the Naze village several restaurants/cafes/fish and chippers, along with three pubs a Tesco's Express and a Co-op
The New Walton Yacht Haven
Written by Nortada | 20th Jun 2019
The Walton Yacht Haven (The Basin), formally The Pond has been modernized.

The center mole has gone and been replaced with pontoons with electricity.

Access is still via the 'Cat Flap' around high water so all boats stay afloat at all states of the tide.

For more details and to book the cat flap go to:- https://walton-on-the-naze.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/bedwell==-co-13036060.html

If you wish you can also moor on trots, with direct access to ashore in the mud outside.

Frinton Yacht Club❓
Written by Nortada | 20th Jun 2019
To avoid any confusion, there is no Frinton Yacht Club and unlike Walton and Kirby, Frinton has no direct access to The Walton Backwaters. There is the Walton & Frinton Yacht Club (W&FC) a title which can be a continuing source for discussion!

The Walton Basin has been updated, for info and access go to:- https://marinas.com/view/marina/x1crv6_Bedwell_and_Company_Boatyard_Walton_on_the_Naze_GB_United_Kingdom

Update Spring 2019
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 11th Apr 2019
I reviewed this page in April 2019. Changes have been made to the prices and I'm posting new charts. I've had a look for the local navigation info we were told has been posted on the Frinton YC web site but it looks as though that has been removed.
Fresh food at Titchmarsh Marina
Written by Bryant | 21st Aug 2017
The chandlery at Titchmarsh Marina Walton has a service where one can order fresh bread, pastries, eggs, bacon, filled rolls, milk etc from the local bakery either via a form in the chandlery or by phone (01255 676411/mob 07738 279642). One then can pick up the goods at a time that suits you.

UP DATE MARCH 2017
Written by Don Thomson | 28th Mar 2017
These notes were reviewed by Don in March 2017. We note that prices here have remained static since 201. Apart from that, and the fact that Titmarsh Marina no longer does bike hire, we have made no changes. The Walton Sailing Club web site is down but that may only be temporary.
Local Navigation Info
Written by Bryant | 7th May 2015
"Some additional info for The Walton Backwaters (East Cost). The Walton & Frinton Yacht Club has various pages dedicated to local navigation in the area, with the most problematic area, Stone Point, being updated by not only the WFYC, but Titchmarsh Marina and Harwich Haven Authority. All this can be found at wfyc.co.uk under 'Local Navigation'. Please use as you see fit.

Regards

Pete"

These notes were updated by Don in March 2015. I've added a few more photos and noted the price changes at the Walton basin (no changes to Titchmarsh marinas prices) The text has been altered to include the information passed on by Orion in his note below
