New Harbour Master and new facilities for visiting yachts
Written by Daytour | 30th Nov 2018
A new harbour master has been appointed at the Port of Berwick and a new floating pontoon has just been installed. Complete with electric and water the new pontoon is aimed at the cruise ship trade but will also be available for leisure craft. Well worth a visit now!
Lorry park
Written by Daytour | 9th Sep 2017
The Tweed dock is more of a lorry park than a port. Be aware that it can be an unnerving place for a woman. My partner was propositioned several times passing through the parked lorries on her way back to the yacht. Not a pleasant experience. Facilities are non existent. There is a tiny shower/toilet block but again definitely not recommended for a female. Harbour master was dismissed several months ago and has yet to be replaced. All in all a poor place to visit.
