UPDATE SUMMER 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 12th Jul 2021
I reviewed these notes in July 2021. This marina has become very popular and it is now very necessary to pre-book your visit. Their price is still fixed but is expected to increase in 2022.

These notes were reviewed in June 2019. The visitor's rates remain the same at £3.00 a metre and everything remains as it was.

They've made an unannounced increase in their berthing charges to £3.00 per metre. Shore power is still extra.
UPDATE APRIL 2017

I visited here last summer. Very impressive. No changes to our notes.
Update 2015
Written by dononshytalk | 3rd Apr 2015
These notes were reviewed by Don in April 2015. We have noted the new buoyage in the bay round the corner from the marina. Prices are being held again at £2.15 per metre. The visitor berths are now on the western side of the pontoons.

"Visited Portavadie marina for the first time in August 2013, a fantastic location with excellent facilities. Surprisingly clear of midges, not sure if that was purely my good fortune. The bathrooms are most probably the
best I have ever seen at a marina.

Written by dononshytalk | 6th Mar 2013
The notes for Portavadie Marina were updated by Don T on the 6th March 2013. There is a lot more here than we reported a few years ago and that is best found on their website. The berthing charges have been updated for 2013.
